05/31/2026 Indy was adopted by MAGDRL repeat adopter Mrs. Uydess of NJ. She has adopted senior Danes from MAGDRL previously and gives them wonderful homes in their golden years. Indy will be a spoiled King as he deserves in this wonderful home.

05/23/2026 Indy is an approximately 7-year-old fawn male Great Dane weighing around 150 lbs. He is the definition of a gentle giant and truly one of the sweetest old souls you could hope to meet. This handsome senior boy is a world-class smush. Indy’s favorite thing in life is simply being close to his people — laying his big head on you, leaning in for affection, or curling up nearby for snuggles. He is calm, loving, and incredibly well-mannered. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his paws, Indy may just be your perfect match.
Indy gets along wonderfully with other animals, including both dogs and cats. He walks beautifully on leash and is unfazed by squirrels or rabbits while out and about. He listens well, has a mellow personality, and is the kind of dog who simply wants to enjoy life quietly beside the people who love him.
As an older Dane, I ndy does have some weakness and unsteadiness in his rear legs, and stairs can be challenging for him. Because of this, a home with minimal stairs — or adopters willing to help support him when needed — would be ideal. What Indy really needs is simple: a comfy bed, good meals, gentle care, and lots and lots of love.
Indy would thrive in a calm home where he can spend his golden years being spoiled the way every senior Dane deserves. He has so much love left to give and asks for very little in return besides companionship and kindness.

05/17/2026 Indy is a beautiful very large fawn boy who is all about his people. He is a mushy sweet boy who just wants to be loved. He will need to be neutered before he can be available for adoption. More to come as he settles in his foster home.
