Micah

05/23/206 Micah has been returned to MAGDRL as his youthful energy and tendency towards getting over stimulated was overwhelming for his adopters. Micah is back at the kennel where he was trained and his training is being reinforced. With the correct approach and consistency, Micah will be a very good boy for the right adopter. He was at the vet recently and loved everyone there, giving kisses to anyone who came to say hello to him. He is approximately a year old now and still has growing to do, he is going to be a big boy. He plays rough and cannot be allowed to get hyped up, small corrections are all he needs when he overreacts. He can be placed with another dog but play will need to be supervised, large dogs only. He is ready for an adopter or a foster home who will continue the training that has been implemented for him so far that has been very effective in making him a manageable and cooperative adolescent. An active home is best, Micah needs an outlet for his energy level as would any young Dane.

04/19/2026 Micah was surrendered to MAGDRL from a shelter who thought he was an older Dane mix but he turned out to be a puppy only 8-10 months old and 100% great Dane. His foster home worked with him on his puppyish bad behavior and MAGDRL sent him for the training he needed. He was adopted by repeat Dane owners and now has a Dane sister to play with. Micah got a wonderful forever home and we are so happy for him!

02/23/2026 Just Arrived – Bio coming soon!Micah is a young Dane mix who was surrendered as a stray to a shelter. He is in a foster home and getting acclimated. He will need to be neutered and then will be available for adoption. By all accounts he is a lovebug! More to come once we get to know him better!
