01/08/2026 – NEEDS A Foster Home- Currently in a Kennel

Meet Tex – Your Perfect Laid-Back Companion 

Tex is an 8-year-old gentleman with a calm, easygoing personality who is now under the care of MAGDRL. He is currently being boarded while we search for a loving foster or forever home where he can enjoy the comfort he deserves.

Tex has a true “old soul” demeanor. He lives for affection and will happily soak up pets for as long as you’re willing to give them. His favorite place is near an open window where he can bask in the sunshine and relax the day away. While he’s not overly playful, he does enjoy the occasional burst of zoomies that show off his fun side.

He ignores other dogs, does well in a kennel environment, and is comfortable with non-dominant male dogs. Tex previously lived peacefully with a 9-year-old female Mastiff mix. He is crate trained, though he hasn’t needed a crate in years, and he does not have separation anxiety—making him an easy addition to a home.

01/06/2026 – Tex is now under the care of MAGDRL. We are currently boarding him until we can find a foster home for him, if you are able to foster Tex please reach out so we get get him back into a home environment  Tex Ignores other dogs and is doing well in kennel.

Tex is 8 years old and has had an old man demeanor for his entire life. He absolutely loves getting pets and if you start he makes it hard to stop. He loves finding an open window with the sun poring in to soak it all up and relax the day away. He is not much of a playing pup but every now and then he gets the zoomies and has a great time running around. He is crate trained but hasn’t used one in the past 3 years and doesn’t have any separation anxiety. Tex currently lives with a 9yr old female Mastiff mix.
