Chico/Augie

06/20/2026 Augie, our special needs blind mastiff mix, has been in the kennel since Thanksgiving, he just turned one year old. He desperately needs a home that is willing to work on his special needs. He can be very sweet but has his quirks and needs leadership. He will bond quickly to his leader. He has been thru lots of training and knows all of his commands, walks great on a leash. Please help us find Augie his forever home, he deserves a loving home, he has so much love to give.

12/05/2025 Augie (formerly Chico) is a special needs blind 6 month old Mastiff mix who has returned to MAGDRL and is currently getting the training he needs to be the best companion he can be. Augie was not liked by the other dogs in his previous home and would be best as an only dog or in a home with a laid back tolerant large female. Augie will be a big boy, is growing fast and loves to play play play. He is doing so well with his training, and whoever adopts him will have the support of his trainers for life. Augie is loved by anyone who meets him, he may be blind but he does not let it slow him down one bit. Please consider Augie if you love a dog with a lot of character, have big dog experience and even better if you have blind dog experience. He is going to blossom into a wonderful companion with some maturity and continued reinforcement of his training.
