Phoebe – Gentle, Resilient, and Learning to Shine

Status: On Medical Hold

Phoebe’s story is one of quiet strength and second chances. This 1½-year-old beauty came to MAGDRL in rough shape after being severely underweight and neglected, but her gentle heart never faltered. From the moment she arrived, Phoebe has shown herself to be sweet, curious, and eager to please.

Now safe in her foster home, Phoebe is blossoming. She enjoys the company of other dogs, does well with cats, and is kind and patient with children. She’s playful, affectionate, and surprisingly well-adjusted for all she’s been through.

Phoebe is currently on medical hold while she completes treatment for Lyme disease and anaplasmosis and works on gaining a few more healthy pounds. She’s not contagious — she just needs time, rest, and good care to be ready for adoption.

Once she’s feeling her best, Phoebe will make a wonderful companion for an active home where she can continue learning about the joys of indoor life and being loved.
