Timber was adopted by Bob and Penni of NJ. Bob and Penni have been anxiously awaiting a Dane to be available that would be a nice match for them and their two beloved Bengal cats.
Timber was being fostered in WV and was losing her foster home. Karen reached out and asked if anyone had a open foster home. Thankfully, Ginny and Mark were available and agreed to take her on as a foster until she could be adopted. I want to thank Jessica who kept Timber overnight and then drove her to DE to meet Lauren and I so we could drive her to NJ. Ginny and Mark drove to my house to pick her up to take her home to foster.
Ginny got Timber to the vet pretty quickly to get her up to date and ready for adoption. Bob and Penni were so excited to go to meet her. She really is the perfect Dane for them and they are in love. Huge thanks to Karen, Jessica and Dale for their help getting any records on Timber to me and coordinating her transfer with me to NJ. I also want to thank Ginny and Mark for agreeing to foster her on short notice.
Timber is now called Cheyanne, and being treated like a queen as she deserves. Such a sweet girl. Have a great life Cheyanne!Woof! I’m Timber, a big-hearted, 3-year-old Great Dane gal eagerly awaiting my forever family. My fawn coat frames a lovely face that hints at my Mastiff lineage, perhaps even a touch of English Mastiff from one of my Great Dane parents. My past is a bit of a mystery, having trotted through several foster homes before finding solace in my current foster family’s care.
I’m a sweet soul, sometimes a tad shy, but always ready to shower you with love and loyalty. Protective by nature, I’ll raise a gentle bark to announce visitors, but aggression isn’t in my playbook.
At 135 lbs. and 32 inches tall, you won’t need to stoop to pet me! Unfortunately, I recently had a minor hiccup with my leg, needing some extra TLC as it’s not too keen on carrying all my weight. Luckily, my leg is still functional, and the wonderful folks at MAGDRL are helping me through this phase. Bookmark my post and stay tuned for updates as I heal and regain strength. They’ll keep you in the loop on my progress.
