Remington

I am happy to announce that Remington is now a permanent part of his fosters, they fostered him with the intent of adoption and he is home to stay.  Remington has proven to be a wonderful addition to their home, he is a real gentleman and everyone who meets him falls in love.  Tammy and Greg lost their Dane mix a while ago and decided this time they wanted a full Dane with that Dane stature and personality.  They have found that in Remington. Remington has chosen his new daddy as his person (and Greg is over the moon about that lol) but he loves his new momma too. They have started obedience training with him, especially leash work and he is improving with each class. There are 4 adults living in this home so Remi is seldom alone.  So congratulations to Greg and Tammy who have said they would be willing to foster again, but probably with the intent to add another Great Dane to the family.  But we will let Remington settle in as the prince of the house for now. 

 

I want to thank Kathy and Brian who housed Remington as a foster in their kennel many months before he came to NJ to this foster home.  And I must give a shout out to Kley, the pilot from Pilots N Paws who flew Remington from Hamilton NY to Brick NJ where we met Remington to send him off to his new foster home. Thank you to Kathy and Brian for taking time out from their busy schedule to get Remington to the airport to catch a ride with Kley. I also want to thank Gay Ann who was the CC of NY when Remington (and most of the litter he sired as well as the dam) were surrendered to MAGDRL and coordinated their intake and all of their initial care.
