Faith Came to MAGDRL in September 2025 (3) Children: good with all Dogs: good with all Cats: unknown Faith is a approximately 10 month old male black Dane with natural
After 11 months of fostering him his foster family has decided he is home to stay. His foster home has been amazing and are truly his angels. They have cared for him through hospital stays, heartworm treatment, medicine adjustments and dog training and for his quirky personality… they never once complained! They just adore him and have made him a priority for once in his life.
Hercules came to MAGDRL in October 2024 from a breeder/hoarding situation. He came into rescue with stitches in his neck from being bitten and bullied by other dogs as well as having heartworm, ehrlichia, and liver issues (possibly related to the heartworm.) He also will need to be neutered after his heartworm is resolved. He is tentative of new people and dogs (not aggressive at all, mostly ignores unless he gets scared) and finds things that move fast either scary (little children) or as something to chase (squirrels, small dogs that run). If he doesn’t like something, he barks at it – this includes not wanting to do something.
Despite coming from a rough environment, he is the cuddliest dog ever! He wants nothing more than to lay on his person’s lap and cuddle up next to them in bed. He loves to play tug with blankets, and wants to be involved in everything you are doing. Hercules does not know any commands, but he has already learned so many new things, such as how to stick his head out of the car window, that his Dane sister’s food and treats are not his, and that leashes mean fun times are coming!
Hercules deserves so much love, and has so much love to give. Please consider helping with his care. We look forward to having him fully recovered and healthy and ready for his forever home.
