Congratulations to Dottie and Her New Family!

Dottie’s story is one that touched many hearts. She came to the WV chapter through Sara (PA chapter) where she was shutting down and struggling being in a shelter environment. Sara knew she needed out—fast—and thanks to the quick actions of Jessica and David for being willing to foster her along with their two current fosters and to Diana (MD/DC chapter) who identified Dottie as the perfect match for one of their approved adopters.

Julian and his son Nasir met Dottie, and it was truly love at first sight. The connection was instant, and Dottie made it clear she had found her people. From this day forward, she’ll be treated like the princess she is, surrounded by love, patience, and a family who adores her.

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl and her new home.
