In honor of Memorial Day 2006 the Mid-Atlantic
Great Dane Rescue League, MAGDRL, is proud to
announce a remarkable new web based fundraising
project. The MAGDRL Memorial Wall of
Honor is a majestic place of honor and peace
in which to commemorate beloved pets, friends,
family members and loved ones, both past and
present.
Created by MAGDRL volunteer and artist, Debbie
Freeman, the project incorporates two
extraordinary virtual settings; the Memorial
Wall of Honor and the Book of Tributes.
The Memorial Wall is situated in a beautifully
serene park-like setting embellished with flowers,
flags, candles, and a stately white dove. Carved
stone plaques grace the wall bearing the names of
people and animals that have deeply touched the
lives of their families and friends.
The setting for the Book of Tributes is a warm,
peaceful library atmosphere where an eternal flame
burns in honor of the individual tributes
inscribed in the book. Lovely jeweled
commemorative medallions adorn the pages of the
book as companions for each written tribute. Each
name listed in the Book of Tributes will be carved
onto a stone plaque and placed on the Memorial
Wall.
Come visit the MAGDRL Memorial Wall of Honor
today at
www.magdrl.org and have
your special tribute recorded in commemoration of
Memorial Day and in honor of the treasured
individuals in your life. All proceeds from this
project will benefit the Great Danes in the care
of the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League.

About
MAGDRL
MAGDRL is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) group of state
chapter leaders and volunteers who have, for more
than twenty five years, rescued abused, abandoned,
lost and unwanted Great Danes. Operating in a nine
state region that extends from upstate New York to
upstate South Carolina, MAGDRL spays or neuters
each dog and provides the medical treatment
necessary to return the Danes to good health. We
also provide training and socialization to ensure
their adaptability to new homes. Our goal is to
place rescued Danes with people who will provide
them with secure, loving and healthy homes. For
