Rescue Experience

I have been an active volunteer with MAGDRL since early 2016. I became involved with MAGDRL after having lost our two Danes Big and Lola within 3 months of each other. We were devastated as you can imagine and we weren’t even sure if we would have another dog. After a couple of months we realized that no matter how difficult it is to lose a beloved member of the family that the love they give you far outweighs the pain. We had heard about MAGDRL from another volunteer and decided that we would adopt our next fur baby from MAGDRL. That is when we adopted our Molly. Since adopting Molly I started volunteering and have participated in Meet & Greets and other events, assisted with transports, home visits and manage the NJ and PA/DE websites, Adopt a Pet website and the Pet Finder website.

Special Skills

In my day job I am the Director of the Project Management Office for a national ERP Consulting Company. My responsibilities include overseeing a multi-million dollar portfolio of projects. Our mission is to deliver all projects on time and within budget. Communication and attention to details are critical aspects of my position and I believe that I can utilize these skills to assist MAGDRL to continue to help these wonderful Gentle Giant that are in need of MAGDRL’s support.

Motto

Good better best, never let it rest until your good is better and your better is your best!!

Vision for MAGDRL

To always be there to help find homes for all those Danes that through no fault of their own end up homeless. To continue to educate people on the breed and to maintain and continue to build a great network of volunteers.
