Please contact Barbara if you plan to attend the Annual Meeting so we can get an estimated head count. Also, we plan on a pot-luck lunch afterward. If you would like to stay for that, please let Barbara know what you plan to bring.

    1. Last year's trend of significant increase in veterinary expenses and falling income from fundraising. Have we made progress with this concern?
    2. Are we doing a better job at In Depth Evaluations? Is anyone implementing in anyway the Safer testing that was distributed last year? Did we see any change in incidents or the number of dogs in kennels?
12. New Business
    1. We will accept questions/discussions from the members in attendance, 10 minutes for each topic, one hour total. Suggestions already received are:
       1. Our Insurance Policy and Clarification of when orphans may attend events
       2. Dogs in Kennels, ongoing effort to place orphans in foster homes and keep our kennel expenses down
       3. Fine tuning the home evaluation, some things to look for

Elections

As part of our annual meeting, elections to the Board of Directors will be held. A list of the job descriptions for each Board position is available here. All eligible voting members (members 90 days before the election day - May 16, 2010) will receive a ballot in the as part of the newsletter being mailed out at the end of June.
