Motto: "Heaven goes by favor; if it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in." (Mark Twain)
"You paused outside to look into my cage. I tried to play it right, wanting to catch your eye with a shy glint in my own, a soft bark, that said, "Choose me," in a canine grammar I hoped you'd understand." (R.S. Jones, his account of his dog Scout's adoption from a shelter)
Vision for MAGDRL: To save Great Danes one Dog at a time. To give all deserving dogs a second chance to have the best life possible through referrals, foster homes, adoption, and rescue. To grow our network of members so that we can place each and every one of these sensitive, intelligent, loveable, and deserving dogs into new forever homes where their personalities, potential and distinct qualities will be better valued and enjoyed.
