Rescue Experience: Found MAGDRL in 2002 when adopted first rescue Dane and have been an active member ever since. Have also been an active volunteer since finding MAGDRL, serving in many different capacities. Have fostered approximately 50 Danes during this time. Became the Chapter Coordinator for NJ in October of 2003. Served as MAGDRL BOD Secretary since 2006 and as the Bite Coordinator since 2007, appointed President in March 2010. 

Special Skills: Have been involved in animal handling and care since High School. Worked as a Vet Tech for 4 years while earning a degree in Animal Husbandry. Returned to school in 1982 for a nursing degree and graduated in 1985 as an RN. Vet tech and medical background help in caring for the sick and abused foster dogs in my care.  Active member of the Great Dane Club of Northern NJ in the late 1980's and served on their board as Recording Secretary for 3 years.  Currently serving as Corresponding Secretary for the Northern NJ Great Dane Club.
