MAGDRL's Board of Directors - Vice President
John Sasser

Location: NC

Rescue Experience: John has been involved with MAGDRL since 2003 when he and his wife, Diana, adopted their first (rescue) Great Dane. They have been involved with the breed for more than 25 years as owner/parents and currently as adoptive parents to five wonderful gentle giants. Their involvement has included evaluations, home visits, transports, M&G fundraisers, vet visits, organization meetings all across N.C.
Over the past three years their Triple J Farm has evolved into a “safe haven” for Great Danes “on their way home”. At last count, the number totaled over 150 “Great” Danes of all shapes, age and sizes. Discovering MAGDRL and Great Dane Rescue has been a tremendous influence in my life. It’s a labor of love that pretty much takes up all my (off the job) time. My efforts are dedicated to the memories of our beloved fur babies Max, Max II and Josh. They taught me so much about life, love, friendship.

Special Skills: An understanding of how to deal with people. Over forty years of experience and training in the corporate world.

Motto: To always do what I say I’ll do.

Vision for MAGDRL: To continue to grow and be the model organization that truly “does it for the dogs”
