Rescue Experience: When I first joined MAGDRL two years ago I had no idea how involved I would become with this wonderful organization. I intended to just take Titan to an event every now and then to help raise money… now I’m out every weekend! I try and help out where I am needed but I do have a few specific roles. I currently serve as Matchmaker for NC and truly enjoy working with families to find the perfect Dane for them! I am also a member of the Adoption Team and PR Team for NC. Another task I have taken on is listing our adoptable Danes on Pets911. I feel my most important and rewarding position is fostering. I think the Danes have taught me more than I have taught them! More recently I have joined the Great Dane Club of Central Carolina and I keep them informed of the events and fundraising we have going on.

Special Skills: I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter a few weekends a month. I help with anything from cleaning cages and walking the dogs to assisting with adoptions and educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter.

Vision for MAGDRL: To be around another 30+ years and continue to rescue and rehabilitate as many Danes as possible.
